We invite you for a special screening that brings together two powerful documentary perspectives on Ukraine’s past and present.

The film will be screened in Ukrainian with English subtitles.

The screening will begin with a series of short documentary films “The Will to Win” (2024, directed by Kadim Tarasov). Each film showcases the incredible resilience of Ukrainian athletes who overcome numerous challenges of war, personal losses, and suffering, proving to the world their unwavering will to succeed.

After the short films, the main feature documentary “Culture vs War” (2024, Kadim Tarasov) will be shown. The film explores the lives and work of Ukrainian artists who took up the defense of their country, as well as those actively engaged in volunteer work. The format combines personal stories, documentary testimonies, and the worldview reflections of the heroes in the first person. The film features well-known Ukrainian artists and cultural figures.
